Flynn lied by intent to VP/NSC, had to go, but add Gorka smears and a pattern emerges

Everything we are seeing falls into the ideology of ‘TRUMP IS SO EXCEPTIONALLY (FASCIST, STALINIST, HATER, DICTATOR, RACIST, MISOGYNISTIC) dangerous we are excused from all conscience and bad actions’

Michael Flynn, head of the FRICKIN DEFENSE INTELLIGENCE AGENCY under Obama, who was fired for being TRUTHFUL, had to have known he should not have been on the phone with the Russian (FSB resident?) ambassador. He then, ‘unintentionally’ omitted certain facts about this when asked by the VP about it causing a ‘lack of trust’.

This is a real loss but he had to go, and it’s ON HIM. Just because this FACT fits the narrative of the left, the MSM, and the freaks among the Dems (i.e. the leadership) makes no difference.

I stipulate this.

HOWEVER, let’s take all the FACTS surrounding the ILLEGAL release of the fact of the spying on the American citizen, and the staged, organized manner of the release(s) and hold it all for a moment and take a look at the campaign around Sebastian Gorka.

Briefly, Sebastian Gorka an EXPERT on Islamism and REFUGEE from Communist Europe (and citizen here) was seen wearing a medal.

Talking Point Memo (one of the largest progressive blogs) ran the story based on Lobelog (which I never heard of but which falls about 7.5 on the DU/HuffPo Leftist Richter scale).

Joel Pollack (an American who happens to be Jewish) deconstructs, and illustrates the path of #FAKENEWS when it fits the narrative of Soro-left.

The flyleaf of Paul Gorka’s book ‘Budapest Rising’ identifies him as a recipient of the Order of Vitéz ‘for his bravery during the Resistance’” — i.e. the resistance against Soviet communism, which Gorka discusses in his book.

Ironically, when Eli Clifton was at the left-wing Center for American Progress, he himself was involved in a damaging scandal about antisemitism at its ThinkProgess blog in 2011-2012. At the time, the Jerusalem Post noted: “The Simon Wiesenthal Center, the Anti-Defamation League and the American Jewish Committee have all termed the anti-Israeli rhetoric of Jilani and fellow CAP writers Eli Clifton, Ali Gharib, Matt Duss and Ben Armbruster to be infected with Jew-hatred and discriminatory policy positions toward Israel.”

So it is unclear why Clifton’s false accusations of Nazi ties are being treated as credible. (Clifton is now a reporter at the Nation Institute, a non-profit associated with the left-wing magazine.)

Clifton’s slander was picked up by the Southern Poverty Law Center, retweeted by Chelsea Clinton, reiterated by left-wing publications like Talking Points Memo, and elevated by mainstream sources like the Times of Israel and Ron Kampeas of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. None bothered to check the underlying claim of Gorka’s alleged Nazi sympathies.

Why Gorka?

THIS is one reason.

There is a more compelling one as well.

Now think of Flynn, and a rather stupid action on his part which yesterday saw the frothing John Lewis, and senile Nancy Pelosi RIDICULOUSLY using a fake tweet demanding action which transparently would lead to more impeachment talk. Think of what Eli Lake a security writer of long standing now at Bloomberg has to say.

One White House official with knowledge of the conversations told me that the Russian ambassador raised the sanctions to Flynn and that Flynn responded that the Trump team would be taking office in a few weeks and would review Russia policy and sanctions. That’s neither illegal nor improper.

What’s more, the Washington Post reported Monday night that last month Sally Yates, then the acting attorney general, had informed the White House that Flynn discussed sanctions with Kislyak and that he could be susceptible to blackmail because he misled Pence about it. If it was the lie to Pence that sunk Flynn, why was he not fired at the end of January?

A better explanation here is that Flynn was just thrown under the bus. His tenure as national security adviser, the briefest in U.S. history, was rocky from the start. When Flynn was attacked in the media for his ties to Russia, he was not allowed by the White House to defend himself. Over the weekend, he was instructed not to speak to the press when he was in the fight for his political life. His staff was not even allowed to review the transcripts of his call to the Russian ambassador.

There is another component to this story as well — as Trump himself just tweeted. It’s very rare that reporters are ever told about government-monitored communications of U.S. citizens, let alone senior U.S. officials. The last story like this to hit Washington was in 2009 when Jeff Stein, then of CQ, reported on intercepted phone calls between a senior Aipac lobbyist and Jane Harman, who at the time was a Democratic member of Congress.

Normally intercepts of U.S. officials and citizens are some of the most tightly held government secrets. This is for good reason. Selectively disclosing details of private conversations monitored by the FBI or NSA gives the permanent state the power to destroy reputations from the cloak of anonymity. This is what police states do.

This is the media side of the resistance.
